First computer forensics firm with e-Crime lab established in Ghana

Accra, Sept. 26, GNA - A Ghanaian expatriate, Albert Antwi-Boasiako has established the first ever computer forensics firm with an ardent e-crime laboratory among the country to assist company bodies, law enforcement agencies, government institutions and stakeholders to fight the emergence of cyber connected criminal activities among the sub-region.
The company, e-Crime Bureau has been established to produce a decent vary of services along side computer and itinerant forensics services, digital forensics skilled witness services, information security  and cryptographic services, e-fraud investigations  and countermeasures, incident response and cyber intelligence analytics.

In addition, the company is developing strategic partnerships with analysis partners, every regionally and internationally to carry out analysis into the emergence of on-line criminal behaviour that also dent the credibility of countries among the sub-region.

“The incontrovertible fact that many international reports still rank Ghana and Nigeria among the best cybercrime offending nations is also a worrying development for our countries, significantly at the time when our governments are actively promoting ICT literacy within the least levels; our enthusiasm to accelerate development through ICT need to be complemented with ethical behaviour on-line as a nation, ” Mr Antwi-Boasiako stressed.
“Our resolve in establishing the first ever computer forensics lab in Ghana is to assist businesses and government institutions across the sub-region to secure their ICT infrastructure and to produce investigation support in high tech crime cases,” He added.
Mr Antwi-Boasiako said apart from services in ICT infrastructure security and computer forensics being provided by the company, e-Crime Bureau would conjointly develop coaching programmes in cyber security, incident response, internet investigations and computer forensics.
The company has conjointly developed partnerships with international cyber security and computer forensics answer suppliers to help supply customised technology support through the deployment of acceptable software and hardware solutions.
The e-Crime Bureau Team is formed of every native and international consultants with varied specialisations among the sector of cyber security and computer forensics.
